My kids and I just created their valentine's tonight using My Digital Studio! It took us 45 minutes to create both of them. It was my longest project and the only reason it took that long was I let them do all the designing and a 5 and 6 year old take a little while to decide what they love!

Here is a layout that I created in 10 minutes.
The layout is one that came with MDS (My Digital Studio) and all I had to do was drag and drop photos and add my text. I added a few brads and moved the title so that it didn't cover Clara's head! I love the fact that it is created but you can change it to meet your needs.

Ribbon and fabric flowers

My best friend made me this fabulous hat... I added some fun flowers made out of SU fabric, ribbon and seam binding. They are on removeable pins so that I can switch them out. I am thinking of making some different colors so that I can match my outfits!

Starter loves the snow!!! This is my new dog that I bought my husband for Christmas! He is the best!

I know I am a little late... but wanted to wish all my friends and followers a very Merry Christmas!

Here is what I created for my Love at First Stamp Christmas party!

I made these cards for a coworker for her daughter.

Card for the family who lets us pick out Christmas trees each year at their farm.

My mom, sister, mother in law, sister in law and grandmother all received one of our card boxes filled with handmade cards! I used our fabric to cover them.

So sad to be leaving Utah...

I didn't mention this, but I have never been out west. I have traveled North to Canada and South to Florida; however, I have never been West of PA! What an experience... My upline, Buffy, always says in her workshops that it is not just about the stamps, it is about the friendships and the places that Stampin' Up! takes you too...

Well, I have to agree 300%! I have met so many amazing people, have so many fabulous stamping sisters, and now got to travel to Baltimore, Connecticut and now Utah with Stampin' Up!

Cannot believe that I still have 2 more days here!!!

First, I'd like to say thank you to Brian for your continued support in my love of stamping and scrapbooking! Thank you Buffy for day 1 pushing and teaching and putting the bug in my ear about Rising Star. I am a goal setter not knowing that it truly was attainable!!! Thank you to my entire Stampin' Family!!!! I was so thrilled to have 4 of my Stampin' sisters here with me!!!! All your enthusiasm this week has been amazing!

Convention Day 3

Visited the Awards booth yesterday and found out that I made "Founder's Circle". One of the most amazing awards. I will find out exactly what tonight at the awards ceremony.

One of the things us stampers do is Convention gifts!!!

I created these gifts for my stampin' sisters that I am traveling with!

I used our new Blossom die box #123127 for the Big shot to create these adorable boxes.

Gift is a pin made with our satin ribbon.

Buffy and I created these pins for Baltimore for the ladies

and I thought it may be a nice idea to make a "bag tag" duplicating the pin.

If Susan and Kim wear their pins that I gave them in Baltimore, then they will have a matched outfit.

I made many of these to decorate my bag, shirt, hair and hat...

had a blast!

Convention - Day 1 (we arrived a day early to settle in before the convention really starts)

Today, we are getting acquainted with Salt Lake City, meeting up with uplines.

I am having dinner with Denise (Stampy Wackers) tonight.

I am unfortunately her 6th level - so not really apart of her team... but very excited to meet her and her downline!

I also used the stamp set field flowers.

Markers work wonders on coloring these large background stamps... but I decided to do a different technique of inking my stamp with More mustard all over, then taking my sponge in Early espresso, I daubed it into the center of this stamp... then huff on the stamp to moisten it!

It gives a soft and subtle look!

Convention 2011

I leave for Utah in the morning.

I am so excited that I really haven't been sleeping for the past week!

It is my first Stampin' Up! convention!

I have been to regional events and they only have at most 1,000 people at them.

At convention, I am guessing 10,000 demonstrators!

Can I say.... excitement from men and woman who love what I do?

Stamping, Scrapbooking and Cardmaking!!!!

Even more exciting, when I did my online check in, it says I won an award.

It has been such a fantastic first year selling SU!

I can't wait to see what inspiration they have waiting for us!

I am so excited to share pictures of my recent gifts from my uplines! I had a fabulous January in sales and these are a few things that my uplines gave to me as gifts for congratulations!!!

The first gift I received from my upline- Buffy (I am so thrilled to have met her 2 years ago!) I couldn't have picked a better upline to sign up under!!! She gave me this gift at our meeting last night! The picture of us is from the Baltimore Regional that we attended!

I never thought to put those carnations all around a frame before!

At one of the first "Love at First Stamp" meetings I attended, I demo'd how to create these flowers.

They are gorgeous in white with some shimmer spray on them!!!

I unpacked some boxes today from our move and I found Brian's grandfather's poem, so I placed it on his pillow today. Tonight, I got an email from a stranger who emailed me asking if I knew the poet and that she feel in love with this poem 20 years ago. How amazing is this!

Well, I tried to post a few projects I have been working on... and while trying to upload the photos... blogger comes on and says... you have no more FREE room on your blog!

What?

Well, I have been putting hundreds of pictures on here since October 2008, so I guess it is time to upgrade... so after my weekend away... I will look into purchasing some space or deleting old stuff. Haven't decided yet!

Thank you to all for visiting my blog over the past 2 + years! I will get back to posting as soon as I solve my problem! "When I thought about the song it made me think about my son's 1st day of kindergarten this year. Even though he was excited and ready... he still needed us to stand by him and hold his hand until it was time to go down the hallway with his teacher. He did so well, no tears, wanted to go back and still loves it!"

Yesterday was my best friend's birthday. Here is the card that I made for her.

January just feels like a blue type of month which was my inspiration. I used Marina Mist, Night of Navy and Whisper White.

We are currently snowed in at the cabin and loving it!

I am so excited that I had a snow day yesterday and had some time to play along with one of my favorite challenge blogs, Sketchy Thursday! Here is my take on their sketch this week....

At the beginning of the year, we take pictures of the kids wearing their glasses or silly masks and then without, they then practice their high frequency words by writing the page for the book...

"Who am I?"

"I am Bryce."

I love his picture and knew I had to scrapbook it...

Happy 2011! I am still trying to pick my OLW for this year... have narrowed it down but one is not standing out completely to me yet. I will post soon when I decide. I hope you each had a fabulous holiday and new year's day! I had a blast with my family and friends!

Love this card... the magic of our Big shot is just amazing...
Ink the embossing folder... place sandwiched in big shot and woila!
It has a suede effect to it... then add a little Frost White shimmer paint in rubbing alcohol... wow!

Thanksgiving

We were blessed to have both of our families together with us for Thanksgiving! Not everyone was feeling well, but the dinner was fabulous and we got to enjoy each other's company... we played Scattegories and the boys played Xbox. It was a great time! The kids loved playing together!
