Happy Easter

Our little bunnies are very tired after their very busy day today. When I awoke at 8 am, Bryce was sitting out on the couch awake saying "The Easter Bunny came!" I asked him if he checked it out and he said no. When Clara woke up about 40 minutes later, they both ran as fast as they could down to check it out. The bunny hid eggs that they first tried to find... then they went straight to their baskets. They were adorable. They loved it all. They both loved their ribbon wands that the bunny got them and ran up and down the hallway... funny thing that Bryce said was, "the bunny got it wrong!" The bunny gave him blue and not green. Too cute!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!!!What a wonderful day we had today. 1st they went with Grammy and Aunt She She to an egg hunt; however it was rained out. Then I took the kids to the mall (which I rarely go to when I have Brian with me, so this was a huge event!). We first went to Barnes and Noble to get books for tomorrow's egg hunt. Then we walked through the entire mall to get to the Easter Bunny. It was a very long walk for 2 sets of tiny legs. We waited in line for about 30-40 minutes before seeing the bunny. They both stood very nicely. I was so proud of them. Then they built a bear for Clara and a bunny for Bryce. I will need to take pictures of them with their new friends and post soon. Then we went into a toy store to get Makenna her birthday present. (I got a deal of the century there.) What a great time we had tonight.
Brian took Bryce and Gavin to race slot cars for Gavin's birthday. We got him a slot car for his present. They had a blast. Clara and I enjoyed dancing and scrappin tonight. I cleared off my table... yeah for me!
Hope everyone enjoys their holiday! Hope the bunny is good to your family! I can't wait for the kids to see their baskets.

Dream On

Scrapping the Music- Challenge #80
Dream On- Aerosmith"Sing with me, sing for the year, sing for the laughter, sing for the tears, Sing with me, if it's just for today, Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away...... "

I chose this verse because it spoke to me... It has almost been 5 years since my Pop Pop passed away. There isn't a day that he isn't missed or thought about.

Thank you for taking a look at my grandfather's memorial page.

Egg Hunt at the Property

Today, we had an Easter egg hunt for the kids at the property. When they first saw the floor poured, they were so excited... no more dirt they cried... it was so cute. They ran around, kicking beams and poles. Then the 3 of us danced around while Brian ran back into town for a tarp. Back to the egg hunt, I hid the eggs around the inside of the house.
Bryce then helped Brian nail the tarps into the ground to protect the subfloor.
Tonight I am grateful for...

I need a new word

So, after my crop tonight... I need a new word. If Gooooooooosfraba helps you when you are angry, what word helps you when you are extremely scared out of your skin? Please post a comment and share a word that I can use to calm my nerves.

So, I had my crop tonight until midnight.. yes, you are reading that I am posting at 11:21 and have already made it home, taken a shower, unloaded the car... I didn't stay until midnight. I was planning on staying until Christmas was scrapbooked... however, we were talking about "the children" when the scariest noise I have ever heard happened. The first time, my friend, Terry only heard it, then the second time, all 3 of us heard it. The only person that moved at first was me reaching for the phone. Terry, went towards the steps to check it out and sees a bulldozer being unloaded onto the sidestreet. Sigh, so I go down and double check that Amy locked the door behind her when she left, check! When I walk upstairs, the light in the kitchen is off.... "goosfraba" or whatever word you guys suggest! Then, I go to the classroom because all I see are flashing lights out the window. There is UGI drilling up the road. I go, great watch there be a gas leak... Don't know.... ahhhh... So, I call Amy, not home yet, so I talk to Jeremy, still all a flutter, honestly!!! I don't know when I will be going back to scrap alone. So, long story getting longer, I decided to leave when they left a little after 10. Christmas still isn't done, but sanity is still kinda intact... not really, but I am faking it well.

Side story, my father in law scared me to death last weekend. So, this is now the 2nd event to scare me. I hate to be scared. Think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts!!!

Tonight I am grateful,
that it turned out to be UGI making a lot of scary noises
to scrap with friends
Anger Managment (was watching it tonight)
Brian being home (since he was camping last weekend when I was first scared)
to sleep peacefully and soundly tonight
White pizza (yum... ordered it for dinner)
to finish Christmas tomorrow
days off for Easter
sub floor being delivered tomorrow

Scrapping the Music- #79

Everyday- Dave Matthews
Here is my layout for this week's challenge at Scrapping the Music.
I am absolutely in love with this layout. I used all my new Bobunny paper to accent our trip to Ocean City, MD last summer.
The song was very inspiring... truly all you do need everyday is love. I love to spend every minute I can with my husband. I certainly did find "the one" for me.

The title- love is raised with 3D foam adhesive.

Welcome Dylan

My coworker delivered her son at 1:36 this morning. He weighs 7lb 10 oz and is 20.5 inches long. Welcome, Dylan! I am looking forward to meeting him. God bless!

Here is a sneak peak at some classes this month...Explosion box album- perfect gift for Mother's Day
Technique 101- learn how to bleach stamp on your background (You do not need to use the egg stamp in the class, there will be other choices)

This layout has 3 purposes...
1st- it is the 4th layout for Quick Creations this month (I will provide the sketch for this layout and you choose the paper you would like to use. Bring 1 4x6 photo.)
2nd- it is a sample of Campbell's Soup Challenge #3
3rd- it is my entry for OLW's challenge

To see more of my classes and get more details... hop on over to my other blog.

Beautiful day

Today is going to be a beautiful day. Both kids woke up feeling well. Bryce is eating... we are enjoying cartoons. What a great day! I hope you take the time today to enjoy the small things, like tossing a balloon back and forth.
Don't forget this month's challenge at Scrapbooking's Inn is "Spring into Action." The smell and sight of spring makes me spring into action each day!

House update

We secured all plans for the house to be delivered at the end of the month. We got our confirmation today from the log home company! Yeah, they have been the ones holding the project up the most! I am so grateful to have a definite date. On Sunday, Brian will be putting up the I-beam and posts. On Thursday, the subfloor will be delivered and Brian has 2 weeks to put the subfloor on before the house is delivered.

Set you date...April 25th and 26th... Campbell's Non-Amish House Raising Party. If you would like to be a part of this grand event, please let me know. My mother in law will be cooking and helping to deliver food. I will be mostly at the property to take pictures, drill holes and organize. I hope to help as much as possible. I will also be driving people back and forth to their cars. I am so excited, I am about to bust!

Tonight I am Grateful for...

Dying Easter Eggs

Yesterday, we dyed Easter eggs at Aunt Amy's store. Gavin, Makenna, Bryce and Clara had a great time decorating the eggs. Some of the eggs even got glitter on them!

They had "monster hands" by the end of the time!

Here is Bryce's favorite "monster face."
