Scrap That Poetry, Practical Scrappers, and more!

Scrap That Poetry challenge #5
check out the challenge hereI love this picture that my sister took of Jonathan and Clara at the reunion. The two of them are on a road that is less traveled... I can't wait to see where they end up!

I hope you can join us for this challenge! Due December 14th! There is a RAK given by Tonia!

This week's challenge at Practical Scrappers is to make Christmas cards! Here is a card that I created using only tiny scraps from another card that I made. I folded the paper and added some distress stickles for ornaments! Come play along with us this week! If you saw one of my previous posts, you know I love the decade of the 50's... about 7 year maybe 8 years ago.. I suggested celebrating the 50th day of school by dressing up like we are from the 50's. We set up a museum, stretch out our phonemes in words using bubble gum and hopping in hula hoops, we write what we wish we had 50 of, have root beer floats and end the day with a sock hop! Here is my grade level team this year! This year, Quinette was able to have a juke box delivered to the school for us to use for the sock hop!!! Now if only I had some saddle shoes!!! I need to start searching ebay for a size 8! Here are pictures of our museum... Tiny tears Baseball cards were created in 51, playdough, Mickey Mouse Club Paper dolls, Barbie, Tammy dolls, Pez, and Mr. Potato Head (1st ones used parts in real potatos) I wish I could post pics of my 5 and 6 year olds... they look so cute all dolled up and greased up!!! Here is a pic of Becky and I teaching the Hand Jive! It was a wonderful day!

How fun! I love the photos, I am so into vintage toys, and now some of mine when I was a child fall into that category. Sigh......
