Convention 2011 Highlights

"There is always room for more... we gotta grow, Grow, GROW!!!"
You can see me on stage for Awards night, the fabulous time that I had in all these amazing sessions, make and takes... etc!  I have classes for the next 6 months planned... stay tuned this week to hear more!

Leaving on a Jet plane...

So sad to be leaving Utah...
I didn't mention this, but I have never been out west.  I have traveled North to Canada and South to Florida; however, I have never been West of PA!  What an experience... My upline, Buffy, always says in her workshops that it is not just about the stamps, it is about the friendships and the places that Stampin' Up! takes you too...
Well, I have to agree 300%!  I have met so many amazing people, have so many fabulous stamping sisters, and now got to travel to Baltimore, Connecticut and now Utah with Stampin' Up!
Where next?
Will you join me?
Don't forget about the $99 special to sign up!
Leave me a comment or email if you want to know more!
Here is a picture of all my creations I made for convention...

Happy Stamping to all!

Convention Day 3

Convention Day 3

Visited the Awards booth yesterday and found out that I made "Founder's Circle".  One of the most amazing awards.  I will find out exactly what tonight at the awards ceremony.
One of the things us stampers do is Convention gifts!!!
I created these gifts for my stampin' sisters that I am traveling with!

I used our new Blossom die box #123127 for the Big shot to create these adorable boxes.
Gift is a pin made with our satin ribbon.
Buffy and I created these pins for Baltimore for the ladies
and I thought it may be a nice idea to make a "bag tag" duplicating the pin.
If Susan and Kim wear their pins that I gave them in Baltimore, then they will have a matched outfit.
I made many of these to decorate my bag, shirt, hair and hat...
had a blast!
Want to learn how to make these, book a workshop with me and I can demo them at your place!
Email me for more information:
happy2scrap4life@hotmail.com
The boxes are made using the new designer paper for our new in-colors!
I am loving the new in-colors!!!!

Busy day again today!!!
Convention sessions begin today!

Make and take session
3 x 3 swap- I made 88 love note cards to swap
Pennant Parade stamp set with matching punch!!! It makes adorable Christmas trees!!!

Convention Day 1

Convention - Day 1 (we arrived a day early to settle in before the convention really starts)
Today, we are getting acquainted with Salt Lake City, meeting up with uplines.
I am having dinner with Denise (Stampy Wackers) tonight.
I am unfortunately her 6th level - so not really apart of her team... but very excited to meet her and her downline!
Here is my swap that I am doing with them.
Sunflower #123606
Field flowers #122762

This is my absolute favorite card that I made for convention!
We will be making it in my August Card club- Aug 7th
email me for more info...
You can order this fabulous sunflower background set on my online store
I also used the stamp set field flowers.
Markers work wonders on coloring these large background stamps... but I decided to do a different technique of inking my stamp with More mustard all over, then taking my sponge in Early espresso, I daubed it into the center of this stamp... then huff on the stamp to moisten it!
It gives a soft and subtle look!
I hope you like it...
I am enjoying my 1st night in Utah!
Tomorrow, I get to check in and get my bag of Stamps!!!!
SOOOOOOOOO excited!

Blue Skies
by Willie Nelson

I am so thrilled to be taking over the Scrapping the Music challenge blog!  I have loved working on this design team for years.

Here is my take on the song..
What a beautiful day it was on Bryce's 1st day of school!
He had beautiful "blue skies".
"please excuse the quality of my picture, I took this with my phone while I figure out how to download my camera to my new computer."

I am using new Stampin' Up! products on this layout.
I am using new designer paper and the amazing Pennant punch!!!
