It seems like forever!!!

Wow, it seems like forever since I have blogged and it has only been a few days!  So much craziness going on!  It has been one of the busiest weeks for me at school and at home!  I am so happy to have the weekend be here and a little R & R.

Last night, I did my first Stampin Up workshop.  It went pretty well for a 1st workshop.  I relied on what I feel comfortable which is teaching... so I had a blast doing the teaching part of the workshop.  I did 3 projects last night for my mother-in-law's show!

Here is the 1st card that I taught-
learned how to use the Scallop punch to create beautiful flowers
Use both watercolor crayons and ink to create these flowers
used the new acryllic block and clear mount stamps
layering punches and dimensionals
Second creations is...
With this tag, we learned how to...
use the blender pen to apply ink to the stamped image from Stampin spots or ink pads

Here is the final card, where they applied what they learned to this card...
they chose to use either the watercolor crayons or the ink to color the flowers in the vase.
Thank you to the ladies who joined me for my 1st workshop!
Looking forward to more!!!

I am excited to share some of my creations from my 12 hour crop yesterday.  I will be posting the creations this week!  I am very excited to share Scrap That Poetry's next challenge on April 1st.  At the crop, they have a layout contest, where they give you some products that you must (or they suggest) you use on your layout, but you can add anything else.  Then all the croppers choose their favorite.  Well, my next STP layout won 1st place... I get to go crop for free next time!  Whoo hoo!

Don't forget to go play along with our Irish blessing challenge until the end of March!  Check it out here!  There is an amazing RAK being given away by Tessa!

I added a link to my tutorial on how to make my handmade flowers on the post below!

400th post- Spring Hat Parade

Wow, I can't believe this is my 400th post!
I had such a fabulous day with my kids.
We celebrated Spring with their Spring Hat Parade
Master Bryce with his "tool hat" to build the house.

Miss Clara always makes "headlines!"
As stated by Miss Buckno... This is our first time that a student brought items to accessorize her outfit with her hat. (We sent in all the items for her hat... she told them that she had to wear them with her hat!)

After the parade, Grammy and I took you two to get ice cream...

We had such a fabulous day today... got to enjoy the sunshine and each other!
I hope you had just as fabulous day as we did!
