Technique Challenge at
I just posted this technique for February's challenges here. Come play along with us!
Create your own vintage embellishements
using a dictionary/ vintage book!
1. Punch a shape out of vintage book/ dictionary. You need at least 3 to create a flower.
2. color shape ( I used Stampin up watercolor crayons and a blender pen )
3. cut slit in one circle- adhear together with glue dots.
Cut 1/4 out of one shape and adhear together with glue dots.
4. pinch and layer
Embellish as desired!
Also on my layout, I added a vintage page above the photo, using the notebook paper punch from Stampin up as well as more watercolor crayons and the blender pen. I embossed the hearts and the title "adorable."
I hope you have a blast reusing all those books/ dictionaries that are just sitting on the shelf collecting dust!
