It seems like forever!!!

Wow, it seems like forever since I have blogged and it has only been a few days!  So much craziness going on!  It has been one of the busiest weeks for me at school and at home!  I am so happy to have the weekend be here and a little R & R.

Last night, I did my first Stampin Up workshop.  It went pretty well for a 1st workshop.  I relied on what I feel comfortable which is teaching... so I had a blast doing the teaching part of the workshop.  I did 3 projects last night for my mother-in-law's show!

Here is the 1st card that I taught-
learned how to use the Scallop punch to create beautiful flowers
Use both watercolor crayons and ink to create these flowers
used the new acryllic block and clear mount stamps
layering punches and dimensionals
Second creations is...
With this tag, we learned how to...
use the blender pen to apply ink to the stamped image from Stampin spots or ink pads

Here is the final card, where they applied what they learned to this card...
they chose to use either the watercolor crayons or the ink to color the flowers in the vase.
Thank you to the ladies who joined me for my 1st workshop!
Looking forward to more!!!

Congrats on your 1st workshop! I love those newsprint flowers - really liked the SU DSP like that last fall and it never occurred to me to actually use real printed paper! lol You certainly gave me an "ah-hah!" moment!
