Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey.... goodbye!Well, our family has finally said goodbye to pacifiers! Clara bit through these four early last week... so we threw them out. She had two left, and bit through those on Friday... so we made our visit to Hazleton without any pacifiers... she used her very polite manners and asked before bed, "Mommy, can you please check the diaper bag? When there were not any in there, she said okay and went to bed." She has not had one since! She has been moaning a little in the middle of the night, but overall doing very well! I am so proud of her. She is also wearing underwear for most of the day, we put a pull up or diaper on her when we put her down for a nap or at nighttime. She still won't do #2 on the potty, but is trying! She is so proud of herself too.
Wow, we are past the baby stage or almost there! I can't believe it... what is the magic about a child turning 2 1/2 years old. It happened for Bryce too! He just seemed like a child versus a toddler.
Today I am grateful for...
no more pacifiers
no more diapers (man, think of all the money we will be saving)
hot chocolate
patience- the leprechauns came and we didn't catch any... let the excitement begin!
delectable dinner out with Brian (absolutely wonderful lobster and crab cakes)
student teachers
specialist days
