This is my 1st time using a scrapsketch... I love them! What do you think?
I used some of my new Jillibean goodies to create the layout!
I am currently participating in my 1st online crop at Crop Addicts. So far this is the only layout that I have made during the crop... but I have played many games, made cards and yet got to play and watch my kids during the crop! Whoo hoo! I love online crops! Check them out here.
I pulled out my Jillibean and Stampin Up Stash to make this collection of cards. I hope you enjoy!
I used fabric to make the flower and as a mat on the card.
I made this one for my nephew who turns 4 on the 10th!
This morning, I told Bryce and Clara that today was World Cardmaking Day! They were excited and asked if they could make cards too! I asked them who they were going to make cards for and my really smart 3 year old replies right back Ian and Jonathan. Their birthdays are this week! It was what I was going to suggest, but they were on a mission.
So, I gave them some scrapbooking supplies and they were off. They haven't scrapbooked with me in awhile. We used to sit down and all scrap frequently, but I think it has been about a year since we have done this! It was so much fun! Here are their creations.
Bryce is even ready with a Christmas card.

This was a fun challenge to do... I am not used to limiting myself to a certain number of items!
Journaling reads: She has been waiting 1 entire year for this day! She is potty trained. She is 3 years old! She has a backpack. She is off to preschool!

The whole family went on the 1st field trip of the year to Sieple Farms. We had a fun ride on the hayride all bundled under blankets and in warm clothes... much different than last year in light t-shirts. The weather held out for a nice trip... it drizzled a little but stopped quickly.
We walked through the corn maze to the corn classroom to learn all about corn and its uses.
Clara loved carrying around corn that she found on the ground.

After learning about corn, we walked the Crayola Factory corn maze.
We found the 4 missing crayons!
After the maze, they got to play with corn in many ways... corn rubbings.
Dressing the scarecrows. 
Then we got to each pick a pumpkin... Clara's is so cute and tiny. Bryce wanted a really big one.

It was a great trip to the pumpkin patch! 
There were so many lines in this poem that I loved...
I used a lighter to burn the edges around the poem... it gave it an aged/distressed look that I loved. I used red walnut ink to paint my daughter's umbrella pink, then I added some glitter dust from Stampin Up.
